This lodge has a few people. They only have about 20 rooms, so it is quiet. Its a nice place!

Brilliant Lodge

Lively lodge. Modern. Very high standard. Roims very comfortable. Food very good. Lodge gas waterhole which has lots of animals at night. Close to Etosha. 30 minutes drive to park

This was probably the best stay in Namibia for us. The place was superb. The stuff excellent. Food was very good and the place was a pleasure.Not only we would recommend it, but we wold stay there again.But longer!

It falls below expectation in terms of the experience you would expect from the place. 1. Is a nice place but not wow. 2. Staff seem under paid and even though friendly the interactions could get a bit uncomfortable. 2. There is a set menu for dinner but they don't know how to cater for vegetarians even if you inform them in advance and get confirmation that they will accommodate. We stayed 2 night with 2 disappointing dinner experience. We ended up eating a larger side dish of the main me

More pretense than reality

The rooms were clean, albeit bare. It all seemed a bit bleak and we didn't really feel comfortable. However, even if it is nice for decoration, they have streams of water everywhere, which means there are a lot of mosquitoes there. Overall, it was very cold in the main house at dinner and breakfast, so the food got cold quickly. The food itself was ok but nothing special. The staff made an effort. What we didn't like was that the prices of the activities were different to the prices quoted afterwards.

Very disappointed after this stay - staff let mosquitoes in our room and didn’t have a mosquito net so me and my partner were bitten numerous times after never being bitten in our two week trip to Namibia. We were served pork that was burnt on the outside and extremely undercooked on the inside resulting in food poisoning the following day. After raising our concerns with staff, no effort was made to amend this. Other accommodation in Namibia requested we have short showers to conserve water while Emanya has unnecessarily green lawns due to inappropriate sprinkler usage. Proximity to Etosha is convenient though

Eine unsere schönsten Unterkünfte in Namibia

Wunderschöne, moderne und sehr saubere Unterkunft. Schöner, großer Pool, gepflegter Garten, sehr gutes Frühstück. Wir haben es sehr genossen - auch die angebotene kostenlose Fußmassage. Frühstück war sehr gut, das 5-Gang-Abendessen wurde serviert, das fanden wir auch schön und es war auch gut. Nachmittags gab’s zusätzlich Kaffee und Kuchen. Da blieben keine Wünsche offen. Wir empfehlen einen Aufenthalt von mindestens 2 Nächten.

Mooie lodge, goede locatie ten opzichte van Estosha. Zwembad, lounge en buitenruimte zijn fantastisch. Kamers zijn goed maar wat mindere kwaliteit dan de gemeenschappelijke ruimtes.

Fijne ontvangst met een koffie en een stukje cake. Heel mooie zithoek en uitzicht op het terras aan een waterpoel. Het ontbijt en avondmaal waren zeker en vast inorde en erg verzorgd. Onze kamer was ook inorde. ‘S avonds kwamen ze de kaarsjes aansteken terwijl we aten. Heel gezellig bij het terugkomen! We deden 1 game drive via hen en waren echt heel tevreden ☺️👌

Base lodge für etosha

Traumhaft mit eigenem Game Bestand von einer Plattform neben dem Pool zu beobachten. Essen und Service perfekt. Optimal als Einstieg nach etosha. Emanya bietet mehrere Optionen für gamedrives mit deren Fahrzeugen, durchgeführt von sehr kompetenten guides. Absolut empfehlenswert. Einziger Kritikpunkt ist der fehlende Kühlschrank im Zimmer. Wenn man eine Rundreise mit eigenem Auto macht wäre das hilfreich.

Wir waren begeistert von der Lodge. Es ist super schön in den Zimmern. Sehr ruhig und überschaubar durch die wenigen Zimmer. Der Service war auch sehr gut. Die Leute alle freundlich, zuvorkommend und hilfsbereit. Eine klare Empfehlung von uns sich hier eine Auszeit zu gönnen.

Die Unterkunft ist sehr luxuriös und modern, mit einem sehr großzügigen Pool und einem schönen, offenen Restaurantbereich. Das Dinner war überdurchschnittlich gut und mit jeweils fünf Gängen (Hauptgang aus täglich zwei Angeboten wählbar) auch sehr reichhaltig. Das Zimmer selbst ist zwar groß, vor allem das Bad, wirkt gegenüber der übrigen Anlage aber etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Das W-LAN im Zimmer war leider schlecht.
