"We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. Everything was excellent, from the warm welcome at the entrance to the comfortable and spotless room and the delicious breakfast."

"The service was impeccable! The room was extremely clean and the breakfasts were amazing. We would definitely return!"

"Property was exactly as listed with gorgeous redwoods surrounding your space. We stayed in a cabin and it was very clean."

"Cabins were very clean, staff was extremely friendly and polite."

"Overpriced for the facility. In need of some TLC."

"The bed was comfortable and clean. The furniture needed to be replaced as it was worn out. The bathroom needed a good, deep cleaning. The location is nice as it’s right by a grocery store and within walking distance to a few restaurants. They offer a pool and hot tub, which would be a great amenity, but was not in working order when we arrived. Breakfast offered multiple options. The staff were friendly and helpful."

"Friendly staff, clean rooms, comfortable beds."

"We aren't snobs. We usually pick the cheaper hotels with good reviews. The pictures are misleading. The courtyard had chairs but no cushions, so they're useless. There's no pool, like on Expedia but not on their website. That's for the RV park. The exterior doors have no security key and are left cracked open, always. The room was not clean. Coffee stains in the sink when we arrived told us it wasn't. There are better options out there, even at this price point."

"Great hospitality and excellent service. Jay at the front desk made check-out quick and easy."

"Great historic school house. Beautifully remodeled and updated. Lovely rooms with a view of the ocean. Relaxing and quiet. Would highly recommend but not walkable to town. Close to Sue Meg State Park for hiking and ocean views."

"Only issue was that there were no towels in the room upon arrival. Towels were quickly brought to us"

"You cannot go wrong with this place the views are incredible! Owners are really friendly and the rooms are really clean and gorgeous!"

"Wouldn't stay anywhere else!"

"Brilliant home away from home"

"WiFi doesn’t work in rooms, only in common areas and on site restaurant has been closed for years. Otherwise, fun historic property to visit."

"The room was clean and comfortable. Front desk staff was pleasant and helpful. Location was good. The only con: they had run out of butter in the breakfast room the previous day and still didn't have any. That could have been easily remedied with a trip to the grocery store but instead guests had to do without. I know this seems minor but ..."

"Quite and comfy bed"
