"Clear instructions before check-in. Great location with a big terrace. Reasonably clean room but spacious. The guy at the reception is not friendly nor polite, he acted annoyed at both times I talked to him and even rolled his eyes when I came down to check out lol"
"The room was very clean. It is a vintage hotel - built in 1801 if we remember correctly. Small elevator (3 people only) but it works. Sometimes you have to wait a bit. Good continental breakfast. Excellent service and staff. Always helpful."
"Hotel is in a great position right opposite the cruise port and adjacent to the town. There are plenty of good restaurants close by.
The hotel itself is one of faded glory.
It’s obvious it’s seen better days.
I found the check in staff rather abrupt, though the bar staff were lovely.
The room itself was quite spacious and the bathroom huge and marble.
Blackout curtains were effective, but spilled light all around.
I thought one 500ml bottle of water between two of us rather mean.
Bed was comfortable but the pillows rather flat.
I would stay here again, though my expectations would now align with reality rather than images on their website"
"This was the best hotel my wife and I have ever stayed in our world travels so far.
The staff was very professional, courteous and attentive to our every concern. We never waited long when emailing them a single inquiry.
They provided personal transport from the airport to their hotel upon our arrival as well as transfer back to the airport on our day of departure. The driver was highly professional, helpful with our luggage and accommodating.
The entire hotel--particularly the rooms we reserved--was very clean, well-ventilated and orderly. Bedding, restroom, floor, mirrors and even television were all clean.
They helped us with our many luggage bags, safely stored them before our room was ready and had their transport service at the ready the moment we had our early morning checkout at 4:00am.
The breakfast bar was plentiful: breads, pastries, fresh meats, a wide selection of juices and fresh-made espresso from the bar.
We have never met a friendlier, more professional hotel staff than that of Victoria Letterario. They made our introduction into Italy a most-welcome and stress-free one.
I would highly recommend this hotel for anyone booking a trip to Trieste, Italy."
"Great spot in front of the sea & a short walk to Miramare grounds and castle.
Good comfortable room, soft towels, good shower, efficient air con & good sound -proofing to outside & etc easy to park in hotel parking area.
But disappointing that the hotel had no beach area/beach loungers or facilities in front of the hotel, and the only serviced beach area was a walk away, charged for entry.
Spa area (private use only) very well equipped, but you do need to book to use.
On the room facilities no toiletries provided apart from one liquid soap dispenser by the sink, and no coffee machine/kettle in room for hot drinks, both of which seem a bit minimal for an Adults only hotel.
Breakfast was good, staff were good, but the super menu was too limited - only one hot plate on offer.
Bus stops very close by with good service to Trieste and the small local port (with boat service to Trieste) but no shops within walking distance, and only a few eateries."
"For the location the price was really good, really clean, nice kitchen. I didn’t know how to use the stove or coffee maker, probably my fault. If traveling on a budget it’s a very good and safe choice"
"The staff wasextremely helpful and specially Tina who help us to get our lost lugagge back. It took her three days of constant chasing.
We had one of the only bedroom with a balcony and which I recommand."
