"The carpets need to be replaced in the room . There was discoloration in the rug where someone had spilled . Looks unclean . Staff was nice . Wish breakfast started alittle earlier . I had to be at the hospital at 6:15 so left at6 and got nothing ."

"The property has not been cared for. The area isn't the best area to stay in. I had booked for my daughters and grandkids and we ended up not staying. Wasn't offered any kind of refund. It was very dirty and the people hanging out drinking and smoking (not cigarettes). Felt unsave and the door to the rooms looked like it had been broken into. I would not recommend this place. The picture on the website does not match the property."

"My husband and I stayed here for the weekend with our two children. It was quiet, and pretty clean. You could tell they are still in the process of making improvements to the place. But for the price we paid, it was better than expected. We also really only needed a place to shower and sleep the rest of the time we were on the beach or at the park across the street. It was a nice little weekend getaway."

"Room was clean and the staff are very friendly, courteous and supportive. Breakfast was excellent and delicious. The toilet bowl and seat in the bathroom needs to be replaced as it looks like it was either glazed or painted and it came off. The self parking and WiFi was included. I would definitely recommend this place and I even took a few of their business cards and handed them to a friend of mine in another nearby town for future recommendations and reference."

The first room we were given smelled bad, and the bathroom floor was constantly wet, which made the room feel unclean and uncomfortable. We reported these issues to the front desk the following morning and were moved to a different room. Unfortunately, the second room had its own major problem—the air conditioning did not work. After already dealing with the issues in the first room, being moved to another room that lacked a basic...

We were made to feel at home by the staff from the first moment as Tracy gave us a tour of the amenities and showed us to our room. The homemade ginger cookies in the break area were yummy. Breakfast was delicious, beautifully presented and the fresh biscotti were a delight. Our room was comfortable and the little touches like a fresh bottle of water were notable. "Location was beautiful, beds were comfortable, air conditioning worked great, and appreciated the black out curtains. Our daughter loved the balcony and view of the water. Water pressure in the shower was very nice and towels were super soft. Breakfast from the Bistro was expensive but delicious!!"

"We stayed for 1 night. Linda was very responsive and communication was above par. She’s accommodating when we arrived at almost midnight. She greeted us and allowed us a late check out so we could get more shut eye and a chance to walk around and explore New Bern downtown. Breakfast was superb. The dining room was well equipped with fresh fruits and brownies. I highly recommend Meadows Inn."
