"Lovely stay at a lovely property. Beds were comfy with glorious linens, in rooms on the smaller side. Stairs are curved and fairly steep so not great for anyone with stair issues. Spectacular views and gorgeous sitting areas in a unique rustic setting. Host went above and beyond to accomodate us. Kitchen was adequately stocked for basic meal prep. Would definitely recommend this place to others."

"Exactly the way a hotel should be run, staff, room, location, food and more was perfectly lovely..."

"Room was maintained, Hotel lobby was clean with the staff being friendly. The only discrepancy is that the hallway to OUR floor was not vacuumed on a daily basis with dental floss pick being on the floor outside the elevator 2 days in the row before I removed it and placed it in the garbage."

"Very happy with this hotel. The room was clean, quiet and comfortable. Breakfast was warm and the staff friendly and courteous. Definitely would stay here again."

"Hot tub could be a bit hotter"

"A calm, peaceful and beautiful place to temporarily escape from the city. Jana was very friendly and helpful, gave clear instructions and a warm welcoming. Super clean and also close to the nature. Highly recommended."

"Very accommodating to have us on the first floor, with no elevator on property. All staff were very friendly!"

"Timber House is a beautiful building..close to Lake ON with easy access..We love the area, and are glad of its location down a quiet road. Easy to access multiple areas including PEC..The breakfast was efficiently served quickly, and was delicious, especially the jam. The rooms are spacious. It is not a new building, so the rooms dont look new, it is inconsequential. The main areas and dining are beautifully upkept and a pleasure to be in. Will always be our choice when returning to that...
