"One of the absolute best hotels that I have stayed at. The location is perfect and there is plenty of parking. The staff is extremely friendly and they keep the place spotless!!! They have an amazing breakfast buffet in a large dining room with a gorgeous view of the causeway. You can walk straight out to the beach and they have extremely affordable chair and umbrella rentals if you need them."

"Where can start, front desk ladies are not friendly at all, regardless of the day or time, the only friendly people we the cleaning, maintenance staff, and the older Hispanic guy at the front desk, our room started leaking from the roof the second day of our stay so we had to move to a different room, also two of the lights were not working in the first room, one of the lamps also wasn’t working on the second room, when we went to eat breakfast the orange juice machine was empty so I asked one of the ladies to bring another bottle and it seems like she was bothered about it so she went inside the kitchen got a new one replaced it and left , after that day we decided to go eat breakfast somewhere else, the same thing happened at the front desk after we ran out of toilet paper, I requested a new toilet paper she was a little short and not friendly, the fire alarm was going off every day randomly, one of the two elevators stopped working and the last thing was when we checked out I returned the keys to the front desk and the lady didn’t even bother to ask us if everything was okay or nothing, took the keys and didn’t say anything, I will never come back to this hotel again."

"Our stay at Hampton Inn and Suites was good. While the check-in process was clumsy and protracted because we used a third-party to secure our reservation, the rest of our stay was great. The hotel is centrally located making our drive time from place to place rather short. The room was very spacious and comfortable. The A/C actually had a fan setting of AUTO that actually worked! The bed was comfortable albeit firmer than we have at home. The staff was very accommodating and friendly. The breakfast menu had lots of options from fresh fruit, cereal, waffles, and hot items including scrambled eggs, potatoes, and sausage gravy. The grounds were well maintained and ixora flowers were full and bright. Would enjoy another stay when down in Harlingen."

"Everthing was clean"

"Pleasant experience for the price. Normally I don’t care to leave a review but this place was nice for a super 8. Comfortable and clean. Absolutely wonderful experience. Tv could have been updated , tiny little Vizio with hdmi ports not working for my fire stick , and tons of dead pixels but… other than the tv everything was perfect."

"I had a very disappointing stay. The room had a strong unpleasant smell as soon as I walked in. The restroom door appeared broken, which made me feel unsafe. The bathroom was in poor condition—the mirror, bathtub, and faucet all looked worn out and not properly maintained. Overall, the room did not meet basic cleanliness or upkeep standards. I would not stay here again."
