"Stayed here for the weekend of the marathon Very well situated for us all supporters and runners. Had everything we needed Bar and Restaurant was good we ate here twice in our stay for convenience with theee small children Room with fridge and had small snacks in that were completmary m We will return for next years stay for the marathon The girls in reception were amazing ! All staff were so friendly and helpful ! "

"This hotel is always a delight to stay in. It’s perfect for the Manchester Marathon and other city even highlights as it’s only a short metro ride from the town centre. The room was clean, tidy and had everything we needed for our stay including a fridge and tea and coffee. Breakfast is served buffet style and always has a great and varied choice "

"Ideal location next to Old Trafford with a tram stop just over the road. Staff were very helpful during our stay for the marathon. Front reception was welcoming. Rooms were a good size with a fridge which was handy. Bathroom could do with an update but was fine for our two night stay. Would stay again"

"The room I stayed in was absolutely filthy. Previous guests had clearly been smoking in the room, as the smell of smoke was really strong. We were unable to open the window as it was so high up. The window sill had been used as an ashtray and there were burn marks and ash still visible. The blind couldn't be opened, it was just permanently closed. Assuming in an attempt to hide the window sill. There were holes in either side of the bathroom door, where it had clearly been punched by previous guests. The tap in the sink wasn't fixed properly, and when turned on, the water ran brown! And also there was no hot water. And the TV had clearly been ripped off of the wall at some point, and some attempt was made to fill the hole, but the TV was left leaving on the table with the wall bracket still attached. The carpet was supposed to be yellow and blue geometric style pattern, but it was black. Upon checking in, the staff made no attempt to tell me anything, about how to turn on the hot water, they pointed at a piece of paper with the door code and WiFi password, and that was it. The main door wasn't secure as it was left open several times. And on one occasion through the night someone tried to gain access to our room. Having to listen to people arguing and banging on the front door until the early hours seemed fitting! I was told to have a nice day when checking out though! Thank goodness it was only 1 night! have taken photos for evidence!"

"Friendly staff. Room had an awful musky smell. Only stayed in room for a few hours so that's why i didn't request to switch rooms.And the shower was stuck on hot. No way to cool it down. The hotel shares a building with other companies and a university so it's not your average hotel building."

"Check in was effortless and the staff were attentive throughout my stay. Breakfast was of average quality, but there was a nice variety of options to suit everyone. The bedroom was clean with fresh sheets; however, the stained carpet was off‑putting. You would expect an IHG‑owned hotel to invest in proper industrial carpet cleaning. The location is convenient, within walking distance of the tram stop and the Trafford Centre. Parking was only £5 per night, which I think is very good value"

"All the staff that we had interaction with were really nice. Particularly Arti on reception who was very friendly & was able to give us information that we needed & also made some recommendations. Hotel itself was comfortable & the breakfast was excellent! "
