"We were greeted by friendly staff, our room was great although bathroom could have been cleaned more thoroughly. Food was lovely although as a vegetarian there wasn’t much choice. We had a great nights sleep and the staff were helpful and friendly."

"Clean but a little dated hotel. Only one tiny bottle of shampoo / shower gel provided in the bathroom."

"Chefs need a kick, most disgusting deserts I’ve ever had & I stay in lots of hotels"

"The room was very warm even with the windows open as it was at the top of the property. A room fan was provided but it meant that there was a constant noise when it was on. The breakfast was really nice."

"Staff were all very helpful and chatty which was nice, nice cooked breakfast at a decent price, allowed us to leave our car in their carpark after checking out , which was apprieciated, will be back next year, thank you marine lodge"

"Couldn't get hot tap to turn on in bathroom had a job with cold tap did manage to turn it on but had a job to turn off kept running so took several attempts to turn off"

"Staff were all really helpful and friendly. Room was bigger than expected, clean and bed comfy. We were in room 32 which had lovely air con, which was really cold. We didn’t use the pool but it looked nice, all part of the gym attached to the hotel. The restaurant attached to the hotel has a well stocked bar and lovely courtyard which had a musician on when we arrived at 5pm and then later was showing the football on a big screen tv outside. Breakfast was delicious and very filling! Couldn’t...

"Helpful staff. Sorted out parking. Table broken in room. Shower no pressure, dribbled out. Room fan very poor, very little air coming out even at high speed. Complimentary bodywash and shampoo so small not worth open the packed."

"Wot a fantastic find , John & Sue could not be more accommodating, a great spot to explore the area and an excellent breakfast 😀"
