Authentic Victorian Experience

A lovely mostly restored authentic Victorian house appointed with period furnishings and artwork. Bed was very comfortable and the room was very quiet. Window unit A/C worked well. Upgraded towels, toiletries and breakfast items would easily make this an Excellent place to stay. Some hair conditioner and fluffy towels go a long way.

Jared & Melinda, the innkeepers, we’re friendly & helpful. Our room was ready on arrival & clean. The Inn is absolutely gorgeous! The breakfast was adequate. Would stay again!

I have been there before and will return any chance I get. The surroundings are reflective of the area: beautiful scenery, within walking distance of the river, charming places to visit and eat. You will find hospitality everywhere.

Needs a lot of TLC esp. on the outside

We would never stay here again. The outside needs a lot of "cleaning up" and it's clear that no one takes pride in how it looks on the outside. The downstairs was clean and as expected. The room was clean and the bathroom was pretty clean but the toilet was very low and the lighting as not good. The attached porch was extremely dirty, couldnt be used.

A Dream Come True

This house is fantastic. I had the luxury of being the only tenant for 36 hours. It was a Victorian Romantics dream come true. The entire house is period decorated. There are outdoor porches on every level. The rooms are abundant for groups or solo. You can read a book, play the baby grand piano (which I did), hide in your delicious room, all of the options are fantastic.

The mattress on the bed was amazing! After a long days drive it was just what we needed! We even had a private porch off our room that we really enjoyed. The room had a little mini frig which is very handy. The house was decorated with beautiful pieces of furniture that took you back in time.The Inn is a must see and is absolutely lovely. The hosts were very accommodating and lovely to talk to! When we are in the area we will always stay here!
