"The motel was great quality for the price. The room and surroundings was very clean and well maintained. Parking was a little light but there were spaces on the back road. The block we were in recieved morning and afternoon sun which was excellent for a winters day."

The motel is walking distance to the beach and restaurants around . Definitely recommend the Bounty to anyone travelling to Paihia or around!"

"The room we stayed in (#3) was featured on their Expedia page and on their website and looked very good as far as motels are concerned, but we're pretty sure the photo was taken many, many years ago because everything in the room was just old and worn. The sheets and blankets were stained, and my husband was dubious as to whether they were even cleaned, so we ended up sleeping fully clothed. We didn't sit on the sofa because it was stained. "Beautiful spot by the river with river walk and kayaks for hire - we stayed in pet friendly cabin with bunks for 5, fridge and good supply of crockery but lots of other camping options including lovely glam tents with private balconies overlooking the river - cool communal dining area with pizza oven and trays of pizza making - staff very helpful and allowed early check-in"
