"We have stayed at Astor house before so we came back to the same apartment. They had upgraded the sofas to recliners which was a nice surprise. The apartment itself is easy to get to clean and Torquay town centre is a short walk away. It has a great view over the beach side of Torquay and the area is quiet. The place is clean and well maintained and the host kindly provided some biscuits and milk. I would highly recommend this place."

" Overall this nice little BnB is very good. The hostess is very friendly and helpful with local sights etc. Unfortunately our stay was spoilt by a very uncomfortable mattress.There was a slant to the room which caused feet higher than head. Had to move around bedding and place cushions under mattress, but still could not sleep. The curtains were too thin, so at 530am the room was very bright. We booked for 3 nights, but left after 2 due to lack of sleep."

"We had a lovely stay, myself and my husband with our daughter and her partner we all said we will be back again, i have asked for a quote to bring our family down for my 60th birthday in June 2027 for 23 of us as there is so much to do at the hotel for the adults and our grandchildren, we ate both night's and couldn't Fault the food the lift was broken down but the hotel did notify us before we arrived and did give me a room below due to my arthritis so thank you again!
