Newton Villa is a Bed and Breakfast place and not a hotel. It was renovated less than 4 years and everything is modern from the rooms to other facilities in the building. The exterior that has a Gazebo and a pool was also recently renovated.Its surprising you described the Property as 'dated ' which is exactly the opposite.Newton Villa is located in a very quiet neighborhood that creates a peaceful and serene atmosphere which lots and lots of people prefer as compared to being the city with all the noise. Our guest love to go for walks anytime in the day.There are number of restaurants close by and those without vehicles use the services of either Skip the dishes or Uber eats.We nevertheless thank you and wish you and yours the best life has to offer.

Hello Andrew, Thank you for your stay and for your review. My name is Aba and I am the Property Manager. I am extremely disappointed at your review. You requested we decorate the room for your anniversary and initially wanted a lot more.When I told you I was willing to come up with something nice you stated 50 was on the expensive side. You stated 30 for petals and candles was affordable. I decided to go ahead just to make your room inviting and a little special and not for what you paid.Petals cost more than 30. I placed battery operated candles in the room and around the jacuzzi. The bed was decorated with heart shaped decor. No decorator would charge 30 to decorate a room for a wedding anniversary. Its simply IMPOSSIBLE!When you were checking out, you stated you were expecting real rose petals which is expensive and cost more than you were willing to spend .I really wish you the best life has to offer and please try to be appreciative for services rendered to you. It goes a long way.

Your review did not come as a surprise at all.First and foremost I made it clear to you what our terms and conditions were, being a Bed and Breakfast. I went on to state we do not entertain gathering, loud music and shouting.It was drawn to my attention by some of the guest at almost midnight there was extreme loud noise coming from your room.When I knocked at your door not only were you disrespectful of others in the building but there were 5 guys obviously having a night!You and your friends left the room in a horrible state.I am not in any way SORRY I asked you guys to leave the property. Please be respectful of others when next you visit be it a hotel or a Bed and Breakfast.All the best.Aba Property Manager.

Hello Goo, Thanks for your reservation and your review. My name is Aba and I am the Property Manager that checked you in.First and foremost I am sorry you had that impression about me. We have had in the past guest that have trashed the rooms or damaged one thing or the other and the security deposit in most times is not even enough to cover the cost of the damage. Your credit card was declined and you agreed to the charges that our providers charge us when we use a debit card for pre authorizations. Credit cards just hold the funds for some days and its released.We have a guest that needs help in the mornings as a result of a broken ankle and I help her out. The cleaning lady didn't mention it to me that you we were waiting at the reception for your refund. I would have dashed down...I am sorry to have kept you waiting but I wasn't informed.The weather has been hot and we keep the A/C on and should a guest complain its cold we provide extra comforters and close the vents.
