"When we arrived the hotel was closed. it seeems to be in very deep works for a renovation. No bell ringing at the entrance door. We had to phone. A little bit complicated for foreign people. Happily , Neighbours have help us in our phone call. When we were inside all was satisfying. Just a bit of angst when you arrive, and that nothing seems to work as you aspected."

"Be aware that the hotel reception close down at 19:00 and if you haven’t checked-in by then you have to find another place to stay. I travel a lot but rarely see this rigid routine. Normally there is an option to collect your key in a coded box or something after the reception is closed. But okay, fair enough, it’s my mistake to not follow these rules. But no card payment in 2025?! That’s a big drawback which easily can be fixed. You leave it to your guests to spend 30 minutes to find an ATM...

"Das Gebäude allein ist schon imposant. Man vermutet diesen Baustiel in dieser Gegend absolut nicht. Der Name prägt das Gebäude. Die Zimmer sind geräumig und sauber. Das Frühstück ist nicht überschwänglich, dennoch ausreichend. Der Service ist ausgezeichnet, leider ist die Rezeption nicht 24 Stunden besetzt. Alles in Allem, eine sehr gute Adresse."

"I can't imagine a better place to stay. Utterly beautiful. Room was massive and comfy. The restaurant was beyond amazing. And the staff was lovely. If you happen to get stranded in a small town in Germany, this is exactly the spot you want to be in."

Ich dort geblieben hat gewartet , dann kam in der Restaurant 2 Frauen die haben mir total ignoriert bis ich irgendwann zur denn laufen dann sag sie mir nach meine guten Tag Tag « ja ich komme «  ich sag das hatte mir es einfach gesagt statt mich einfach wie eine penna da warten lassen und mit blicken starren !! Wird sie das auch so machen wenn ich nicht dunkel haut war ? R*** stich"

"Das angeschlossene Restaurant "Al Dente" können wir sehr empfehlen. Das Hotel ist so la la. Pro Zimmer gebe es nur eine Nachtischlampe, wurde uns gesagt, als wir um eine zweite Lampe baten. Auch für Doppelzimmer! Die Matratze fühlte sich wie ein Wasserbett. Wenn der Partner sich dreht, wakelt das ganze Bett. Dusche funktionierte nicht richtig. Das Wasser tröpfelte nur langsam. Sollten wir wieder nach Jessen reisen, suchen wir uns ein anderes Hotel."
