Awesome staff, not so awesome room!

The staff was amazing, however our room was defiantly not what we had expected. The bathtub and big paint chips, one of the railings in the bathtub was broke, the shower curtain had not looked like it had been cleaned. The floors throughout hadn't looked they had been cleaned, dead bugs smashed in, dirt build up in the corners, the socket by the sink was loose and had a hard time getting my blower dryer to come on, which I am glad I brought mine as the room did not include one. My youngest daughter found hair in her bed. Was really expecting a lot nicer rooms, but for the price I guess it is what is to be expected.

Great value

This is a great place for the value… Front desk was nice enough & were clean. We were very pleased with our stay. I was apprehensive from the reviews… But I'm glad we decided to book the red roof. I would definitely book again.

More than a bargain

The staff was absolutely amazing!! Very helpful and friendly. Pretty clean for an inexpensive hotel. (Probably should vacuum the space between the mattress and the headboard.) I would definitely stay again.

The good: Spacious room Very clean Smells clean Fridge in room Close to everything Very quiet In the building Huge bathtub we are all tall and could lay down and relax The strange : Only a few channels actually had sound on the TV You only got one washcloth per room (we stayed during the rodeo and deff needed showers) The beds are very old and firm, not the most comfortable but not horrible Not a high end luxury hotel but was very clean and great to stay in

It wasn’t horrible but the room could have used some more cleaning the floor was dirty, the blankets had some stains, the pillow cases had long strands of hair on them..the room smelled bad..just bought some air freshener and my own blanket..but it was cheap and served it’s purpose and the only staff I encountered was the check in clerk and he was very friendly.

Musty smell. Bathroom door that would not close. … Bedding and bed that seen much use. On the plus side I picked this lodging in a small town because I feel safer. No sense that my car might be broken into. Quite a bit of space to walk my dog.

Called Expedia and Expedia was very accommodating in getting a room in a different property equivalent to what had been reserved. Staff on duty was not at all nice, claimed that what I “requested” (2 bed non smoking) did not guarantee that I would receive this type room. Instead, received a room 1 bed and smelled like smoke. Also staff said I would need to call Expedia which I feel as though they didn’t think I would do. But I did! And glad I did!! Thumbs down to this property.

Have stayed there before but different owners. Booked through Hotel.com.They said I didn't need my confirmation # then charge my card US$ instead of Cdn. Had trouble with language resulting in other family members having to be involved at check in and out.
