"I've stayed at the Concourse many times and it is by far one of my favorite hotels but the last stay was not so good. In fact, it was pretty bad. I was given a room near the pool which I knew would be noisy. I asked for a new room-- a quite one-- and was given another room. In the middle of the night, there were workers on the neighboring roof power washing something (grates filters?). I had to move yet again. It does seem like, if you're in the hospitality business a) you should know what the schedule is going to be which might disturb your guests and b) if you're a front desk person, if someone asks for a quiet room, maybe don't put them in a room next to the roof of the neighboring building where there are generators (and possibly grates to power wash at midnight)."
