Ideal beach front boutique hotel

Great location to experience all Tofo has to offer. Stumbled across the hotel by chance. The hotel is beachfront and the warm Indian Ocean (we went in Dec) more than made up for no pool. The hotel offered complimentary umbrellas and beach chairs for the beach.

Comfortable stay at Tofo Mar hotel but not quite as expected. Pictures suggest a very polished hotel but in reality it is a little tatty. We had booked an executive suite and were given thr wrong room. There seemed ro be some confusion with the staff about which was the executive room and whether or not we had actually booked this room. We eventually were moved to the correct room and received an apology the following morning (assuming this was the manager who was very helpful throughout our stay). Breakfast is ok but service is very slow. Location is very central and convenient for restaurants, diving etc. If you have a sea view the view is very good.
