Ostello del Castello Tirano

Ostello del Castello Tirano

8/10 Good
"A charming, historic property with a beautiful terrace overlooking the city. I loved the aesthetics of the property overall. There was a courtyard with basketball and other balls available, perfect for my kids. The location is walkable to restaurants, and we were provided with a helpful map to navigate the city. The staff were welcoming. Breakfast on site was a lovely amenity (with a cost). While I appreciate the eco-friendly choice to air dry guest towels, it led them to smell strongly like mildew and feel too rough. There was one liquid soap to use in the shower. Without air conditioning, the room was uncomfortable for us in the summer heat though others might be more acclimatized. Overall, the experience was somewhere between a hostel and an inn."

10/10 Excellent
"An excellent hotel, located well near the center of Bormio and with convenient parking and secured garage for bicycles. The spa is minimal but nice. Would be best if hours would be extended. Breakfast is excellent! Rooms are spacious. And the hotel has a very family atmosphere. I would definitely consider this hotel again for a trip to Bormio!"
