"Very dissapointing. We stayed in August and on our arrival the hotel was closed. There was no one on the grounds, i tamg several times and no one was picking up. Finally, i saw someone walking with bed sheets and asked if this person was working in this hotel and they confirmed. It turned out it is a receptionist. When i explained that we're trying to get in for the last 45min and i have a meeting in 5min I would like to log in into and need a wifi password (the password wasn't given to us...

"The Hotel is nice and the rooms are clean. The only problem is the breakfast in the morning. Tables will not be cleaned when guests are finished and difficult to find someone from the staff when you have a question or to need something. The breakfast basic. The food in the restaurant was ok. "

"Hotel Gruener Sand was a very nice place, very clean room, courteous staff, helpful for someone like me that speaks very little German. Dinners were delicious in the little pub, and breakfast was also delicious. Very personalized care, and the only thing that I would recommend for the room(s)m, would be a little apartment size refrigerator. We had some juice drinks that needed refrigeration.
