"The info for the place indicated that there is no front desk. It also says that you'll get an email 24 hours before check in hours if arriving outside those hours. Otherwise, it says that a host will greet you. We got there at 1/2 hour before check in at 3pm. No one there then or after 3pm. No email either. I had to call to get the code. The only time we saw staff was next morning at breakfast.
Room was nice and we took one with the ensuite. Grounds we nice too. However, the water in the taps, sink and toilet stunk to high heaven! I expect there is sulfer in the water. Unfortunately, it was much more than an inconvenience. we kept the washroom door closed and the exhaust fan on all night. There was a water cooler on our floor where there was just enough water left to fill the nespresso reservoir. So, whomever needed water from that unit would be SOL.
Except for the glitch at check in and the water issue, the place was fine. The drive to different towns was no big deal. The place was quiet and relaxing. I wish there was a way to see the falls. Cottage chairs out back in the gazebo is a nice way to pass time and listen to birds and crickets."
"The property condition and your price were fine. We booked through Expedia and paid $37 per day too much.
There were two serious problems.
The kitchen had no utensils unless they were in the drawer which was jammed. We didn’t need them in any case but your next guess may.
There are no chests of drawers in the facility. This problem was a serious inconvenience for us.
Otherwise we found the suite to be excellent."
"I appreciate the staff that were on shift on June 2 (8:30 PM ish) We drove 4 hrs for a work trip and were exhausted. When I called to discuss the noise in my room, the staff who answered the call was very understanding and helpful. I later went downstairs and spoke with the first staff who assisted with checking in, she was equally understanding and showed empathy of the situation. I appreciate the staff that night who made my work trip much more tolerable. Will be returning for sure!"
"The check-in staff were unfriendly. The shower curtain was worn out and dragged on the bathtub floor. Only one shampoo was provided, which was insufficient."
"Phenomenal establishment in a quaint winery setting. Waking up to the sight of row upon row of vines has to be experienced in order to be appreciated. Staff were super courteous and helpful and the rooms spacious and well appointed. Bedding was especially confortable - we slept very well both nights that we stayed."
"Beautiful rooms with lots of space and comfortable beds. Well equipped kitchen however I wish it showed in the description of amenities. Would book it again!"
