Silver Bay YMCA Inn and Conference Center

"The resort-type setting faces beautiful Lake George and even on a rainy day is fabulous! The newer guest rooms are spacious and modern, and although there is no a/c or television, free WiFi is provided for phones and laptops. There is a huge restaurant on-site and breakfast is included for guests at no extra charge. My only complaint is that to reach your room you must drive around the perimeter of the property and bounce down a service lane, where there is limited parking, no lighting, and no signs directing you to which building or entrance to use. This needs to be corrected. Otherwise, I was greatly impressed with the quiet and beauty of Silver Bay YMCA/lodge and would HIGHLY RECOMMEND it!"

"The Brandon Inn was lovely- clean, comfortable and the staff were all amazingly helpful, cheerful and fun. To note, I have severe fragrance allergies but there were no scents or perfumes added to the linens or the rooms- I was so grateful! The only "issue" was the severe lack of water pressure and tepid temperature "hot' water in my 3rd floor suite. It was disappointing. They referred me to 22Park Eatery (next door) for dinner since their dining room was closed due to a private wedding (I didn't know that in advance) - and it was an excellent referral! So grateful. I'd stay here again without hesitation."

"Great location next to Walmart, McDonalds and Dunkin. Short drive into downtown. Rooms were Clean, general hallways could have use sweep, but overall good. Reasonable price for location and amenities."
