"Lovely characterful country house set in the beautiful South Downs National Park, but within easy reach of many other places of interest. Car needed to take full advantage of the location. Owners and staff very welcoming and bedroom comfortable (superior double room). Good breakfast served and a choice of pubs for evening meal within easy reach (by car)"

"Bit of a walk from the train station to the hotel (recommend taxi or uber), but once I got there, it was so nice to be able to relax in a comfy and spacious bed. Recommend going to the gym & swim facilities too; liked the steam room and lane swimming. Changing rooms excellent size. Relaxed atmosphere and helpful staff. Bed so comfy I accidentally slept 10 hours and almost missed breakfast, but when I did go down to eat, there was still plenty of choice and room to sit. Would have liked there...

"Fantastic Hotel. Easy, ample parking when we arrived (though worth noting there is a cost). All staff were very friendly and a big thanks to Duty Manager Paul who went out of his way to make our stay special as we were there celebrating my wife's birthday.
