Footbridges criss-cross Silver Creek all through the canyon.
Only a lunatic would wander every mile of the trail at Silver Falls State Park and stop at each of its ten majestic cascades and clip a few hundred photos of each, adding a couple of extra hours to what would normally be a four-hour trip. Well, fortunately, my friends, I am such a lunatic. Er... Well, for good or bad, I have some photos of each of the ten waterfalls at Silver Falls Park. This is Lower South Falls. At 93 ft (28m) in height, it clocks in at just over half the size of the tallest falls in the park. But it's a beaut. As you can see from this photo, the trail to the falls actually leads behind them and out the other side. This is true of many of the waterfalls in the park.
