1. Val Thorens Ski Resort

In addition to its prime location, the Val Thorens ski area is ideal for all levels from beginner to expert with its five terrain parks and 39 trails. With so much to experience, a season pass is one of the top deals around. However, if time does not permit, lift tickets will suit you well and may even be part of the many ski vacation packages available. Val Thorens ski packages can include anything from hotels to ski rentals to event tickets.

2. Les Arcs

Les Arcs caters to the more experienced crowd with the majority of trails being at the intermediate or expert level, so beginners will benefit from the extra access while still enjoying the Les Arcs ski accommodations. Lift tickets for the resort’s 61 lifts are available at regular prices, but there is a discount for families. Deals on tickets for groups and Paradiski ski resort combinations are also sold throughout the season, many of which include rentals.

3. Méribel Ski Resort

Placed in the center of the Three Valleys in France, which also include Courchevel and Val-Thorens, a ski vacation in Meribel has 68 trails and 41 lifts to keep its visitors busy during the season. While Meribel Ski Resort in France is best for intermediate skiers, beginners have plenty of space to practice in the Zen Zone and Ski Cool in addition to ski school. The black run, Vertical Xperience, is made for the top level of skiers and is nearly as enthralling as heli skiing. Avalanch’Camp teaches guests of all skill levels how to keep safe during their chilly adventures.

4. Val-d'Isere Ski Resort

Val d'Isère is an alpine resort in the Tarentaise Valley of southeastern France.
