"Just what you imagine a country pub should be. Friendly welcome great beer and food, feels so relaxed. Only downside, had to leave at 7:40 to get to university parks parkrun so missed breakfast."

"The staff were excellent and couldn’t have been more helpful. Sunday lunch was also excellent. On Sunday evening the hotel closes at 9pm and guests have only their rooms. I understand that the staff are tired on a Sunday, but with no available Wi fi which I believe will be rectified in the next month or so and no TV in the bedrooms it is a bit dismal. There are no other hotels/pubs or shops or places of interest to visit except the local church."

"The Angel is situated in the historic and picturesque village of Long Crendon in Buckinghamshire. The building is centuries old which is reflected in the architecture. I had a very comfortable room and a bed that allowed a really good sleep. There were plenty of dining options within a short drive. I took a walk into the village which presented some wonderfully thatched cottages and buildings. Breakfast was really tasty with ingredients that were obviously locally sourced. I would look to stay here in the future."
