"First sight of the hotel made me think its was a bit run down, outside paint work and car park (that was of a good size) needed some TLC. On going in the Hotel was busy, the 2 staff that where there were very friendly and helpful. Check-in was fine room was ok for me ( bathroom needed to be made over) i was in room 12 facing the road so if you a light sleeper not the best room as you face the main road. "Amazing staff, friendly and attentive. Beautiful hotel and clean , modern rooms. Comfortable bed. Nice bathroom. Only thing is water pressure was a bit low while in the shower. Breakfast had plenty of options from hot to cold. Lots of drinks available. Tasty food. Loved that we were able to leave our bags and come collect them later. "

"We stayed with our young son for 3 nights in July 2024. The staff were absolutely lovely, so welcoming and helpful with everything we needed and great with interacting with our young son. The food - breakfast and dinner - is truly incredible with nothing too much trouble. "We were in room 302 which has a sea view and was very clean and well presented. My only comment on the room is it was very warm, it felt like the heating was on, even though the outside weather was 20 degrees and overcast. I was also a bit surprised at the additional £50 I was asked to pay on check in (????), although this is refunded when you check out. "Its a no frills stay, manager was polite & friendly & was only a phone call away day or night.. the conversion was done very poorly or cheaply and it shows. The furniture & decor was nice & it was clean. If you just want somewhere to sleep shower have a few hours out of the sun its ideal if you expect everything to be pristine, crisp, new then this isnt for you... i spoke with a couple of the permanent residents there just people and like us all some have bad days, its their home i encountered...
