"I stayed here on my own during a rain storm and although I could not enjoy the patio, I was able to enjoy the cozy cabin, with the fire on and watch the ocean through the patio door. The location was very quite and so charming. I would have loved to have stayed longer and spent more time on the patio, looking at the unobstructed view! The cabin has great natural light, with loads of windows, a cute little kitchen with everything you would need. The bed was super cozy."

"Property is beautiful! Staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. Even in the off season, and things being very quiet I was shocked to see how maintained the different areas were. Watching the sun rise, and set is stunning. We will be back :)"

"I did not expect this level of quality from a motel! The room was completely renovated and brand new, the TV was great for streaming, and the bed was really comfortable. I also loved being able to park right in front of my room! I stayed at several hotels during my trip to Nova Scotia, and this was easily the best place I stayed at. Highly recommend!"

"Great location with very nice balcony. Very clean."

"There was too many smoking areas even though our room was no smoking and parking spaces were not wide enough for most cars."

"This is a beautiful B&B and the owner is lovely. She is very chatty and helpful and made us breakfast in the morning. The location was also great! The only reason I didn't give five stars is because 'the hug' room was smaller than I anticipated. I knew it would be small, but it was quite tiny for two adults. I also didn't love that we had to share a bathroom with the rest of the guests but that's a personal thing. Would still stay here again!"

"I have stayed at the Blackforest cabins four times now and every time we have a very clean positive experience. There has been great communication and easy instructions for checking in and checking out. I wish they had deals for reoccurring customers because it is pretty expensive to stay even for one night."

"Wonderful"

"The city was old but charming town. And the building was old, too. But they tried to keep clean."

"Lovely hosts, excellent breakfast and comfortable room."

"The house is beautiful, good location a short walk to town and waterfront. Dining room was beautiful, sunny, comfortable with excellent breakfast provided"
