"Friendly welcome and he showed me around and answered all our questions. It was a quiet and comfortable stay. The room was clean and the beds were comfortable and it had a nice big shower with warm water. The continental breakfast was awesome. Fresh made breads and meats and a hard boiled egg, yogurt, juice and coffee. Everything was delivered to our table with great service and a friendly staff. It was close to a few restaurants and as the name suggests, right next door to the Castle Wiltz. We enjoyed the whole experience."

"Lovely hotel high up on the mountain side with an amazing view of the valley and Luxembourg on the other side of the river. The breakfast buffet was hardy and delicious, and the dinner one of the best I had in Europe! The natural setting was breathtaking. The infinity pool on the bottom floor has a great view of the valley, as well. The town had some fun places to explore, and it is just a short drive to Echternach on the Luxembourg side, which has a courthouse originally built by Charlemagne. If you visit the Waldhotel Sonnenberg, be sure to try their local honey. It is some of the best I’ve ever had! Available in the lobby. "

"The bed was good. The room was definitely funky and tricky to navigate. We didn't realize the room was upstairs, no lift and the 2nd bedroom was up additional treterous stairs. Don't trip on the step going to the bathroom. Only window in the unit was a skylight. If you like funky you will love it."
