The Shanghai Mansion Hotel in Bangkok was excellent! The hotel was really nicely decorated and clean. Breakfast had a nice array of Thai, Chinese, and Western foods. The hotel bar had live music which was really fun! The room was very quiet despite music playing below. The location was great!

The electrical plugs, worked some times, light came on sometimes. Toilet didn't always flush completely and bathroom sink didn't drain well.

property is located next to the MRT and Lupini Park which is convenient. Hotel was clean but room is dated. Also, the pool was closed, i did not receive any notice from hotel or expedia that the pool was not open.
