Truly a home away from home.

This place was truly a gem. The people were fantastic and the property was lovely. The location could not be better. I hope to return here again and again.

The property was quite nice and the man working in the morning was wonderful but that’s about it. When we arrived they didn’t have our reservation and because our Spanish isn’t great they were frustrated that we didn’t unthat they were full. I understood but had made a reservation and wanted some kind of alternative. We were finally checked into their sister hostel at the same price as the hotel. Beds uncomfortable, rooms cold, very noisy and bright. Do not recommend for the price, location or accommodations.

The staff is great but the place is located in a bad neighborhood, the room don’t have heater if you staying in the winter time like I did and it was so bad I didn’t get any sleep because of the cold and noise around it and bad bed...

"PRECIO NO RAZONABLE"

Personal Amable, sin embargo la Estancia No fue Agradable: Habitación con Poca Luz, Ropa de Cama Sucia, cabellos en sábanas y cojines, manchas en colchas. La puerta del baño no Cerraba, Mueble de lavabo viejo y roto. Riel de puerta de regadera Mojado y con moho. Problemas con desayuno "Incluido" el cual por lo mismo ya no consumimos el 2o. día de estancia ...En fin, No acorde al precio $1,800 por noche "Demasiado caro.

Felt like family

Was here for a music festival. Everything we wanted to do including the Pyramid of the Sun and Moon was within walking distance of the hotel. Elizabeth, Pepe, Suzy and everyone else were wonderful. I felt like family from the moment we arrived. We don't speak much Spanish but with my translation app, we got by. I got very sick my last night there and Elizabeth had a doctor in my room to help me within 15 minutes. The doctor was wonderful and I was feeling better within the hour. I highly recommend this place.

We stayed 4 nights w/ a 1.5yr old & felt li family

The day manager was a very sweet and accommodating lady. Who did her best to communicate with us though we lack spanish language skills. The night manager Carlos is an amazing human with some english language skills. When our daughter reacted poorly to the milk in Mexico, because she had only had almond milk previously, he offered his own almond milk and when we needed more he drove us to get it. The only store that carried it was a 10 minute drive. He refused payment for the ride. In a town where we were the only white we felt like family. No pressure, relaxed, safe town. Close to pyramids(10 minutes on cobble stone roads), with a view of them from the large grassy field. Our toddler really enjoyed playing in the field. We are excited to stay there again next year!

Buena ubicación

La llegada al hotel es fácil y está muy cerca del circuito de las pirámides y del área de comida. El trato del personal fue amable y servicial nos ayudaron a conseguir boletos para el evento de luz y sonido

Fue solo una noche, pero todo fue muy agradable, el trato desde que llegas es excelente, muy amables, en cuanto a la habitación, limpia, el baño igual, la cama es muy cómoda, el clima en la noche es frío, pero dentro no lo pasas, mi experiencia ha sido muy buena por lo que regresaría

Clean & Quaint

Hotel Telpochcalli was exactly what my friends and I needed. There were 3 of us traveling together so we got a room with 2 big beds and a private bath. The room and bathroom were very clean. The only complaint about the room is that the pillows weren't very comfortable, but I've come to expect this from places in this price range in Mexico. The people working at the hotel were nice and accommodating, however the complimentary breakfast leaves much to be desired. A big advantage is the close proximity to the pyramids which is why we stayed there in the first place. It's a nice 15-20 minute walk from the main entrance. All things considered, I would definitely go back and stay there again.

Cómodo y muy bien ubicado

La gente encargada del hotel muy atentos y siempre al pendiente de las necesidades del huésped, solo un detalle al final, no conté con agua caliente en la regadera.
