"Very warm welcome. Very clean and well equipped room. Very comfortable bed with nice clean bedding. Excellent breakfast with good choice of food.. My wife is vegetarian and this was catered for with a very helpful manner. We would happily use this hotel again."

"An enjoyable one night stay at a hotel where the positive features far outweigh any minor niggles. Attentive and pleasant staff, excellent food, well presented and served in a timely manner. Rooms just bordering on the need for some love and attention, although White Stuff toiletries do a good job in diverting attention from the nasty stain on one of the seats. Decent enough spa facilities, although it would be helpful if the price to swim were included in the booking price."

It was also quiet, and the air‑con made it easy to get the temperature right. "The location is incredible. Convenient to everything. The room itself is spacious and clean, with a nice little kitchen and balcony. One downside was that the whole building smelled terrible. It wasn’t the rooms themselves but something to do with the sewer system I guess. Was yucky. "

"Perfectly situated by the train station. Only had breakfast but it was perfect. Everything was kept stocked up and tables were cleaned fairly fast. 8:30 breakfast on a weekday proved to be very busy but apart from finding a table, you wouldn’t have known. Our room was unbelievable, tea and coffee provided plus a coffee machine. Microwave and toaster in the room and a fridge, there was even a selection of wine/beer glasses.
