"The receptionist who checked us in was extremely helpful and very, very kind about allowing us to get an early check-in so we could prepare for the wedding that we were there to attend. However, later that evening, the desk clerk was less than helpful about how to obtain water bottles. There are no vending machines at this location, and the little “store“ next to the front desk had no drinks of any kind, and there was no ability to get any water. Even the ice machine was not working. These are the types of amenities that really make the difference for a hotel guest, particularly at 10 o’clock in the evening."

"The breakfast options are very poor. The Italian shoppe… breakfast options were not very well thought out. Some of the options are served in paper plates, and the egg and toast dishes are served on a plastic tray… and you have to eat them with plastic ware… they break very frequently, getting plastic remains in your food. Toast wasn’t toast, it wasn’t even forcacia bread.. very dense and doughy. Simple coffee choices , weren’t so simple . Not a good value for the price that was paid . Just very disappointing"

"Everything is ok here - as you would expect for the type of accommodation - except for the staff. Horrible service. I booked 4 nights and my key card stopped working EVERY DAY! I had to keep going back to re-program it. And this is AFTER I told the lady at the front desk I was there for another three nights. She didn’t speak english apparently and neither did the old man who was there on checkout. The first night I arrived, the lady came strolling out of the back room and was confused. She called her son (I think) on the phone and put the phone up so I can see it. All I heard was an exchange between them on speaker in a foreign language. I had no idea what was going on. She finally gave me a key but as I said above, it stopped working the next day and the day after that, AND the day after that. So annoying and frustrating. I had to keep going back to the office from my room with my hands full from shopping, etc. and then back to my room. The owner is obviously too to cheap to hire proper staff and has to use your elderly parents - who don’t speak english and don’t know what they’re doing - to check people in and out. Ridiculous."

"The room was very clean and nice. I like the hard wood floors. The hotel was close to downtown Temecula and the wineries. Very happy with my stay."

"Hotel is good. Could use a little updating. The room was spacious and very nice. The breakfast was average, nothing special but it came with the room. The wine tasting room seemed dark, It is on the lower level and not much natural light. It was a beautiful day when we went down there, after one glass, we wanted to leave and be outside. Overall, the hotel is ok, it was worth the $$. "
