Btw the back area needs a few cobwebs cleaning around glass panels, a little off-putting but no big deal. Food excellent, views suberb. Boat trips, Aquarium and steam train on the doorstep. "We had an amazing stay at Briery wood. Though we only stayed one night, it was one of the most relaxing nights we have had in a while and we both slept SO well! The bed was extremely comfy and the room had lots of little details that made our stay feel a little extra special- including a powerful fan perfect for the warmer weather, two pillows each as standard, lots of tea and coffee options & complimentary biscuits!
The bar area was very pretty and breakfast was a worthwhile addition...
