"Room conditions were rough, may not have been properly cleaned. TV in room did not work. Dismissive staff at front desk. Just trying to get through their shift but customer service lacking. However, considering the price point and venue it was expected."

"Older style hotel in the heart of NYC Times Square just half a block from all the action. Amazingly quiet in the rooms. Walk west from the hotel and you quickly are in quieter neighborhoods and end up at the pier on the Hudson river. I loved the hotel and recommend it. One thing they should address are the electrical wall sockets. I stayed in two different rooms on different weeks of my NY trip and both rooms had loose sockets and sometimes sparked when I removed a plug. Not cool."

"This was the perfect room for us...for as much as we needed a room during our time in NYC. We basically just used it for sleeping and showering, along with occasional bathroom breaks. It was pretty basic, but very clean and we were happy with the staff. They also stored our bags after checkout and before we had to leave for the airport. It was a very handy feature and saved us from having to pay for the service elsewhere. I will definitely look at booking a room there again for my future trips to NYC."
