Enjoyed our stay here very much. Cute little bungalow room with everything we needed. Owner was very friendly and recommended places to see in the area, and the local pub for dinner which was great. Close the windows in the evening or sandflies come to visit. Minor detail. Recommend this lovely spot.

Great room, we stayed 7 nights from 26th dec to 2nd jan family of 4, 3 adults and one child and our 2 dogs. The staff were really nice and non judgemental of the breed of our dogs. We really appreciate that they allow dogs. First time we have been able to have them with us when away. It saved alot of doggy separation anxiety. So greatful we could have them with us. Highly recommend The Lake Motel

The motel is conveniently located and is very clean. It's pet friendly but with no adverse smells. We managed to leave some valuable items and the owners were very quick to find them and have them ready for a relative to pick up. We'd stay here again.

We loved staying here, our host was amazing, so friendly and helpful - she even put my washing in the drier when it had finished for me! The room was so cool and had everything we needed and the sitting area out the back was a lovely area. Pity it was raining but when we come back, and we absolutely will, we’ll make the most of it. The Lake Hotel was very cute and comfortable. Wish we had stayed here more than 1 night just because it was so cute! Host steered us to a delicious dinner at the Mole and Chicken and we overall really enjoyed our stay.

It was a real retro motel and was very well kept. The Owners were very welcoming, approachable and helpful. We were given an upgraded unit at no extra cost. The motel is situated in a good area, close walk to the Lake. It was a very enjoyable stay which we greatly appreciated.

A very relaxing and comfortable overnight stay with a fridge to keep our food and drinks in and mini kitchen for preparing our own breakfast with coffee plunger for making that special brew. We would definitely stay here again.

This quaint property has a great proprietor who readily showed us wonderful places to go in the area and made good suggestions for our limited time. The room was comfortable and the standing fan was very helpful. This historic property is in a very walkable location to the lake.

Lovely place to stay

Check in was very smooth. We were showed to our room by a very friendly host. Our room was clean, tidy and had everything that we needed for our 1 night stay. Plenty of places to eat within a reasonable walking distance or short drive. Would return if we ever came back to this area.

Lovely stay

Lovely boutique motel, we had our own little detached room at the back of motel, it was a comfortable twin room, nice and cosy. A short walk to the lake & not far to walk into town. It's great that the motel is also pet friendly. Would stay here again.
