However, there are three points that I must highlight: 1) There is a fitness center just beside the hotel and, when people train there and lift weights, you get the feeling that someone is demolishing a building because the people in the fitness studio don't put the weights back slowly as it should be during a training, they simply let them fall down! "We had a wonderful stay at Echor Tree Mandara Village. The hotel was beautiful, very clean, great location and kind staff. Rooms were very comfortable and spacious, and the restaurant was delicious. It also has a beautiful view of the mountains and Dharamshala. Highly recommended and will be staying again when back!"

"It's a great property with a great view, the food is expensive so I would recommend to opt for a Half Board meal plan. The food is tasy and staff is polite, helpful and hardworking. The Ropeway to McLeodganj is about 10km away only. It's a quiet property with great rooms. If you go for balcony make sure avoid ground floor as balcony is better if not on the ground floor. "

"A very good hotel in its category, a bit far away from the main area of shops etc but located in a quiet spot with fantastic views of the mountains and valley below. Very kind service, though no on site restaurant area, so food served in the room only. Had very nice restful two nights stay on the way to the upper Dharamsala McLeod Ganj."

"I had a really pleasant stay at the hotel. The rooms were clean, comfortable and offered a nice view. The staff was very friendly and helpful which made the stay even better. Room service was quick and everything I ordered tasted great — really fresh and well-prepared. The breakfast buffet was one of the highlights, with plenty of variety and different items every day, which kept it interesting. "This a nice resort to stay in Dharamshala. Surroundings are nice and quite. Resort have spacious rooms with all amenities. Food was also good. Good bar and nice lawn to spend quality time with family. Speciality is having swimming pool in the resort. I spent good time here with my family."
