"Stayed one night only but wished we stayed longer to hang our fishing boots a little longer. A spacious studio for 2 people was very clean and had a small kitchen with a cafe table! The indoor hot tub was a welcomed amenity after exploring Hobbiton! The grounds staff were all friendly and Perkins, the dog, greeted us, too. Laurie, the office manager, was very friendly and knowledgeable about the area. Her husband was a delight to talk to, also, about fishing, of course! "

"Nice location a few km out of Rotorua. The park-like grounds are a bit odd with the Alice in Wonderland themed art, but peaceful and with nice views of the lake in the distance. The rooms are well appointed but have zero soundproofing: you will hear your neighbors snore and chat, and doors are so flimsy you hear everything going on in the common areas. Bring your best earplugs. Breakfast is decent, service can be slow. Tiny outdoor pool and two nice hot tubs. Maintenance is hit and miss: rooms...

"The room worked well for me and was quite spacious. It had all the kitchen tools I needed and was located in a quite area. The only drawback was the WiFi access was lacking some evenings and the front desk was not particularly helpful. Otherwise I enjoyed the stay."

"The room was a great setup for a family with a separate kids room away from the main living area and bedroom. Kitchen was well equipped. YouTube on the tv was helpful with the kids. Bathroom spotless and nice tub. Alpacas, a sheep and bunnies were on the property and the owner gives you food you can hand feed them. Great playground and grassy area for kids to play on. Really friendly and helpful owner!"
