"Marine hotel in Tankerton was very comfortable. It was extremely cold while we were there but lovely lady in housekeeping gave us a radiator for our room which really helped warm the room. All staff, particularly Karen on reception and Patsy in the restaurant, plus many whose names I don’t know who really were excellent for which we thank you all so much for making our stay so enjoyable! "

"We stayed here for one night over the weekend, a pretty little property around 30 minutes walk from central Canterbury. This wasn't too much of an issue as we are happy to walk but it was further than anticipated. We slept so well in the soft bed and liked our little room. When we arrived however there was a brown stain in the toilet and although we flushed it a few times, it would always come back which suggests plumping needs a look at. Says 4 rooms on website but there are 6 and they are...

"The one thing that stood out to me most of all was the staff!! Wow!! For this alone I would come back and travel 2 hours from home just to visit the staff again! "Wincheap B and B is a great place to stay when visiting Canterbury. Great location (just outside city walls and 15 minutes walk to cathedral), lovely spacious, comfortable, clean room with TV, fan, fridge, kettle, tea and coffee, and the breakfast is excellent. Terry and Chris are great hosts, and gave us a map and suggested walking routes. Highly recommend"
