Friendly welcome and helpful staff. A quiet location tucked away just off the beach. The beach here is not suitable for swimming. A couple of good restaurants nearby.

Just lovely people

Chalets on the beach- very quiet location, just down the beach from the turtle reserve. Hosts are very friendly and happy to help with any questions. Fresh food prepared and served beautifully.

Nice quiet retreat right on the beach

Very nice and very quiet chalet on a deserted beach. The location is literally on the beach. Ideal if you want tranquility. Just the sound of the waves! Our host was excellent and helped us with information we needed. There is a good restaurant next door and the Waves will provide good dinners at reasonable cost if you give them warning (as everything is freshly cooked).

A dream

Wir kommen wieder. Personal ist sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Wir sind Freunde geworden. Zimmer sind grosszügig und sauber. Der Strand ist ein Traum. Im Hotel gleich nebenan kann man an der strandbar jederzeit was essen und trinken. Haben einige Ausflüge gemacht. War echt schön. Zum Baden sollte man mit dem tuctuc an eine andere Bucht fahren, wo die Strömung nicht so stark ist. Zum Relaxen ist das *the waves* the best place ever.

Wish we lived there :)

Loved it so much that we extended our stay 3 times. It’s a big property with only 4 chalets. We stayed first in the cheapest, which was a good room. Then we moved to the most expensive one facing the ocean because of the lovely terrace. Staff was so friendly and helpful. Service was very personalized. The best of our 3 weeks in Sri Lanka. The meals weren’t super cheap but oh so good. We ate like kings every morning and the evening meals we had there were huge and some of the best we had during our trip. The location can’t be beat. It’s the last accommodation before the endless strand of beach towards Rekawa. Truly a great find.
