I mainly booked the hotel for the location, which turned out to be even more valuable than I imagined (with easy access to all modes of transport, hundreds of options for all meals of the day and many must-visit attractions). The staff are friendly and very accommodating. There are free tea/coffee/drinking machines which I use every day. The rooms are small but cleverly designed and very good value for money. The bed is comfortable and conveniently doubles as a seat/couch. A long table/ledge runs beneath the window next to the bed, providing easy access to all my stuff, so there's no need to "spill" anything onto the floor/bed. There's also a convenient corner for the suitcase, keeping the walkway clear. The bathroom is modern and not too small compared to the size of the room. The design gives me a lot of confidence that proper cleaning can be easily done between stays. The only drawback is the sink is unnecessarily small (plane lavatory size) and water spills out every time.

A family member had forgotten some cash in the safe and the hotel staff was honest enough to contact me and return it. Staff was also overall very nice with a seamless check in/out process. We were also given free alcoholic beverage tickets upon check in! The rooms although a bit small (standard for Taiwan) was very clean. The hotel was located in a very central location with numerous food, shopping and night markets close by. They had a hot beverage machine equipped with tea, coffee, hot chocolate, cappuccino on site. Overall I was very pleased with my stay here and would stay here again when i visit Taiwan again.

The hotel room was too small. Hardly had space to open our luggages. Also, bed fit the wall of the room, leaving no space at the end of the bed. Had to crawl over my husband to get out of the bed as I was sleeping inside. Only plus points are that it is near the train station and staff was friendly

AWESOME Stay!
I had a great experience at Hotel Relax V! Room was very clean, airy, accurate with online photos, and full of amenities. The staff and the facility were very kind and helpful. Located near Taipei Main Station (exit Z10), close to everything. Would definitely stay again!

Good location and clean!
Very cozy and small room. Bed is a little too soft for my preference. But all else are good. 5min walk to Taipei main station for train to airport and 8-10min walk to ximending.

Not a pleasant stay
unfortunately not a good review for me to write. Felt uncomfortable for the breakfast area as you need to walk from Hotel Relax 5 to 2. Breakfast supposed to end at 10.30am but didn't being informed on the 2nd day they closed at 10am. And it was not a relaxing breakfast as you need to share table with others.

Very close to Airport MRT station and Taipei Metro station. Only about 7 min walk from Airport MRT station. Rooms are small by North American Standard. But if you are only interested in a place to shower and sleep, it's great. Many small shops and eateries(Chinese food) close by. McDonal's and Dante Coffee open early if you need a bite before heading out. Bank of Taiwan is 5 min walk if you need to get currency exchange. The basement of Shin Kong Mitsukoshi Department store also a currency exchange that opens until 9pm (or 9:30pm?).

Location first
Nicely located close to main Taipei station and a few other MRT stops. Can walk to many attractions too. Room is clean, well stocked, bed is comfortable. But, really on the small side. You can have one luggage open, no spot to hang clothing.

amazing staff and very comfortable prime location
The hotel stay was very comfortable and secure. The customer service was top notch. The hotel was basic on complete amenities like a pool however it makes up for it with a lot of little things like the free water and snacks, free wifi, the self service coffee bar, the network of hotel relax hotels with other amenities you can take advantage of. The hotel is really close to the Z10 entry/exit of taipei station and a 5 minute walk to the in-city checkin for airport baggage. the water pressure in the shower was SOOOO nice. i would feel cramped with more than 2 people in the room though. I would stay here again.

Cool place. Very European. Tight little room, reminded me of a cruise cabin. But it was very comfy and had all we needed. Nice shower. Good bed. TV worked well and had 300 stations. Hot chocolate and biscuits was a nice touch. Umbrellas. Luggage storage. Breakfast was the usual buffet of Chinese food, but I enjoyed enough fruit and toast and bacon to get me by.

Well located and convenient hotel
Good location as the hotel is close to Taipei Main Station. The food and shopping areas are within walking distance. The hotel staff are helpful and provide useful information on where to go and how to get around. The room including the shower is clean and the bed is comfortable. The room is a bit small for 2 persons. Good value considering the location and the facilities available.

離台北車站地下街Z8/Z10出口近 搭公車和捷運都方便中 隔音和通風都不錯 早餐要走幾分鐘到二館那邊食 床比較短170cm趟下一點會頂腳 不方便的是淋浴間的那個放東西的盆太小了 放了洗髮精和沐浴精後基本上放不了其他東西 而且沒有地方掛毛巾 基本上都要用衣架跟衣服掛在一起 如果有掛鉤在洗手間內就方便多了 另外收拾房間的人會因為要摺被子就將床上的衣服直接往打開了的行李箱裡掉 像是我衣服阻到他摺被子了 多不好意思

Excellent hotel and staff! The location is very convenient getting to/fro Taoyuan International airport via the Airport Express Train. Room is perfect for 2 adults, comfortable and clean. Oolong tea provided in the room is really delicious.
