Romantic weekend Trip

I brought my fiance here for his 50th Birthday celebration and 10 Fitch completely exceeded our expectations. We stayed in the English Suite and it was as beautiful as all the reviewers has posted. From the King size bed with the lavender smelling sheets and fireplace to the oversize soaking tube and the European shower and not to forget all the Mackenzie Child pieces throughout our room and the Inn's common areas. Cheryl and Sally's exceptional cooking skills delivered us gourmet style breakfast each morning of our stay and had us wanting more. The elaborate gardens, koi pounds and gazebo added a nice retreat for some quiet time. I definitely recommend staying at 10 Fitch whether you are visiting Auburn, NY or want to visit Skaneatekes Lake which is only 10 minutes away. We hope to make a return trip to 10 Fitch in the future.

Wonderful!

Great little B&B! We only had two nights, and my regret was that we didn't get to spend more time relaxing in the inn itself. The place includes a large yard with nice gardening touches and places to sit. Our suite (the English) was spacious and comfy, with a bedroom, sitting room, and bath. Also a small porch. The bath was quite large, with a large separate tub and shower. Our two breakfasts were delicious and VERY filling, and the keepers were attentive to our dietary needs. Also, we got in early, and they were happy to take our bags off our hands while we went back out to explore until the room itself was ready. There was an unusual element to our suite that might bother some people: The entry door opens onto the bathroom, and so the other two rooms are entered via the bath as well. No issue for us, but I suppose some might not like it. Don't know if the other suites are arranged like this. I heartily recommend this place.

Hospitality and elegance at its finest!

My wife and I were looking for a Babymoon destination and stumbled upon 10 Fitch. After speaking to Cheryl the Innkeeper, we knew it was the right place for us. When we arrived check-in was simple and easy. We were in love with the house as soon as we walked in, especially the decor. Each room was beautifully decorated from the floor to the ceiling with such detail. It had a very homely feel to the property. We spent our first 2 nights in the English Suite which was so relaxing and decadent. It was truly a 5 star suite with 3 rooms and a porch overlooking the garden. It gave us that feel of living in a royal castle. Since the English Suite was already booked the 3rd night of our stay, we bunked up in the Equestrian Suite. While it wasn't as roomy as the English Suite, it was still relaxing and had a cool theme. Plus it was great to experience another room. Now, to the breakfast...delicious all 3 days! Sally and Cheryl served our meals and made us feel special and so welcome in their home. Everything was superb...and especially Sally's chocolate chip walnut cookies which we're basically on tap. We loved them so much we bought ourselves some milk to dip them into! Not to mention all the snacks, gourmet coffee and tea..it was everything we wanted. How could I forget the in-room massages?! I recommend this place to anyone looking to spend some quality time together in a luxury home at a great price! We're so glad we spent our babymoon here and can't wait to go back someday!

Beyond expectations!

Beautifully maintained exterior; upon entering, Cheryl greeted us with warm cookies. She then gave us a tour and went over breakfast time and any special dietary restrictions. Everything was top notch from the décor to the hospitality. Totally recommend 10 Fitch!

Honeymoon Retreat

My husband and I love the fall colors of the Finger Lakes. We searched for B & B's in the area and decided on 10 Fitch for our Honeymoon Retreat. Upon arriving Cheryl, her Mom Sally were incredibly welcoming. We lucked out during our October stay....there were no other guests so the pampering we received was even more intense. We stayed in the English Room which was amazing,,,,the bathroom was extraordinary and loved the soaking tub. The Inn Keepers think of everything...The details were extraordinary. Cheryl decorated our suite with Just Married Decor....we loved the candle lights and the fire place in our bedroom. My husband usually falls asleep to TV....so the iPod music by the bed side was just perfect. I cannot do this review justice unless I mention how comfortable the bedding was. The concierge collection is amazing.....it is like sleeping on a cloud with the best sheets ever. It is no surprise when we returned home....we purchased one of those amazing mattress pads. Lastly....the amazing breakfasts. I love that they serve dessert first for breakfast....just a touch of sweet before the main event. The ladies share breakfast preparation and are true cuisine perfectionists. The meals were incredible....we have to admit that Sue's Baked Eggs were our favorite. Sue emailed the recipe and although we have attempted it several times since we returned home....we haven't quite perfected the doneness of the eggs. We adored the old house, the winding staircase to the English Suite and especially loved the puzzle room. We made nightly strolls out to the gazebo with a glass of wine and intimate conversation. There is not one thing we would suggest to change...Every detail, every meal, every suggestion from the Innkeepers was perfect!

Beautiful B and B, centrally located

We spent four wonderful nights at 10 Fitch. Sally and Cheryl made sure our every wish was granted and cooked delicious breakfasts on different place settings every morning. The Inn is decorated in a beautiful, fun way. Everyday, my eye caught new details to enjoy. We stayed in the English Suite which was spacious, very comfortable and had a small deck overlooking the Koi pond. I highly recommend 10 Fitch.

Anniversary Stay

My wife and I wanted a very special place to stay for our 29th anniversary and we were not disappointed. We stayed in the Equestrian Suite and it was every as advertised and more: elegantly decorated, beautiful ceiling, custom silk window treatments, and luxurious bedding on a king sized sleigh bed, etc?Cheryl had the room very romantic with many candles, rose petals spread across the bed, and a box of gourmet chocolates. Breakfast was outstanding and the staff was very friendly and went out of their way to make our visit special. Overall it was a wonderful experience and we will be looking to visit there again next year. Many thanks to Cheryl and her Staff for making our stay extra special! Sincerely, Greg and Carol

Beautiful Valentine's Stay

We had a wonderful one night stay at 10 Fitch on Valentine's Day weekend (we would have stayed longer but the subsequent weekend night was already booked). We stayed in The English Suite. The house is beautifully decorated and our room was very romantic. When we came back from dinner, our room was decorated with numerous candles, rose petals spread across the bed, and a box of gourmet chocolates. The room has a large on-suite bathroom with a soaking tub and complimentary robes. Cheryl and her staff member were very welcoming, friendly, and accommodating during our stay. They were knowledgeable about the house, the area and dining establishments. The breakfast was delicious. I have Celiac's disease and Cheryl accommodated my dietary needs without hesitation - making delicious gluten-free chocolate waffles. We would definitely like to return in the summer.

10 Fitch a perfect 10!

We stayed at 10 Fitch in October and my wife and I both felt it was our best B&B experience ever. The friendly staff and wonderful accommodations, and grounds made it a place we hope to return to. Cheryl Barber made sure we had every detail we needed prior to the trip, and was extremely accommodating while we were there. We will return.

Excellent bed and breakfast!

The Garden View suite was spacious and comfortable. The rain showerhead was very nice. The inn is very clean and has lovely grounds. Breakfasts are amazing. The innkeepers gave excellent recommendations for local activities and restaurants. We had a delightful stay!

Beautiful Inn in the Finger Lakes

Very comfortable romantic inn located in the Finger Lake region of NY. Wonderful breakfast and delightful innkeeper.

UNBELIEVABLE!!!

My wife and I just stayed at this wonderful inn and Cheryl and Sally took such great care of us. The amenities and the English suite were top notch. I have traveled all over the world and the two nights we stayed at 10 FITCH were right at the top. These ladies set the bar HIGH for other BnB's to try to attain. Book your room at 10 FITCH when you will be in the Finger Lakes area. You will not be disappointed. The breakfast meals were better than almost any breakfast I have ever had. The brulee that Cheryl made for our first breakfast set the tone for fabulous food for both meals. Insuite breakfast on our balcony was incredible with gorgeous view of the lovely backyard with two waterfalls. I could go on and on.. but just go see for yourself. We will go back because these ladies are like family to us now!!

Amazing place

It was our first visit to a bed and breakfast and I have to say it was wonderful. The staff make you feel like you are family and give such great care with every detail. We will definitely go back!

Above every single expectation that we had. Rooms are comfortable and spotless. Decor is out of a magazine and the people there can't do enough for you! Top notch This place should not be missed....

A Very Special 30th Anniversary!

Leading up to our anniversary, I really wanted to find a special romantic getaway as a surprise treat for my beautiful wife after 30 years together. Doing a simple internet search, I discovered 10 Fitch and was hooked from the first virtual visit. Not only does the property look beautiful, the special packages offered by the Inn directly just makes it so simple to plan a wonderful weekend away. And when we arrived, everything we had arranged and experienced was first class and outstanding. Couples massage, in-room breakfast, limousine wine tour, a delightful evening dinner, special treats everyday from Cheryl and Sally, and those sheets... :o) Unquestionably, a destination of delight that absolutely made our special milestone totally memorable. Book and go as soon you can!!

Romantic setting

Wife and I stay at B&Bs quite often and find that a one night stay feels like a mini vacation. This was no exception. One of the nicest that we have ever stayed at. Owner, Cheryl, and her staff made us feel so welcome with many touches not found at other homes. Place is meticulously kept. Breakfast was great. Check out Lasca's Restaurant close by for take out Italian that we brought back to our room where we had in room dinner in front of our fireplace.

Romantic B&B

My husband and I recently stayed at 10 Fitch for four nights during our honeymoon. As soon as we arrived, Cheryl was warm and welcoming. Everything at the inn is very clean and organized. As soon as we checked in, we were given a detailed bill with the breakdown of all the charges. We stayed in the English Suite and it was amazing. It was very spacious and romantic. We really enjoyed the gas fireplace and private balcony. There was an organized binder in our room with information about the inn, several menus from local restaurants, and things to do in the area. Breakfasts at 10 Fitch are delicious and plentiful. Cheryl and her mom, Sally, cook amazing food. Sally's homemade chocolate chip cookies (which are available 24/7) are great, too! We were interested in getting a couples massage in our suite and Cheryl arranged everything for us. It was amazing and so relaxing not having to leave the comfort of our suite. We really enjoyed having turn down service (as this is something we have never gotten at other B&Bs we have stayed at in the past). We also loved the Just Married decorations all over our suite when we first arrived and the rose petals on our bed the last night. So romantic! Each room has a docking station with an ipod, which is full of spa & love music playlists. We also had our own mini fridge full of soda and water and our own box of snacks. We very much enjoyed our four night stay at 10 Fitch and appreciate the generous military discount we were given. Cheryl and Sally are such gracious hosts and definitely know how to keep their guests happy. My husband and I are already talking about when we can return to 10 Fitch since we had such a wonderful time there. If you are looking for a very romantic, luxurious, and clean B&B with organized and generous innkeepers, then 10 Fitch is your place!

Romantic

This is a mother/daughter team. My husband I frequent B&Bs consistently. This labor of love team goes above and beyond to satisfy the discerning traveler. From chocolates on your pillow, turn down, weather reports for the next day, you truly are treated like royalty. Mom makes the best cookies!
