Hotel is fine and convenient to airport for those early morning departures. Biggest complaint - no good food options. The hotel bar (Smiths) was sub par. Food was very meh.

Holiday Inn Express Sydney Airport by IHG
The staff are so helpful and friendly, nothing too much trouble. We actually used car parking 5min walk which had shuttle to the airport. Excellent free breakfast. We will make this our stay in future for airport accommodation.
