"The bed was comfortable. The bathroom and room size was sufficient. They provided an iron , an ironing board, a hair dryer and an electric kettle. There was no coffee machine or plugs near the bed. The restaurant downstairs was excellent. There was also a bar. The location was walkable to many sites and tranportation."
Gothia Towers & Upper House

"Upper House was definitely that. I stayed in Gothia Towers and then did an upgrade for two nights. It was a good stay in both places but they certainly turned up a notch at Upper House. The spa was wonderful. Not too crowded as they made reservations. The saunas and Hamam room were very nice. Pools were warm and well maintained. Breakfast at both places was good but I was able to get made to order breakfast at upper house which was very nice. Service was superb in both places, The staff were helpful and friendly My only feedback would be to expand the menus at the in hotel restaurants. The pizza at The Corner was nice and fresh."
Clarion Hotel Malmö Live

"This is the second Clarion hotel I have stayed in and it is just as good as the other. It’s a very nice hotel is in a good location, central to Malmö and a few minute’s walk from Malmö Central Station. The room was very spacious and clean and has everything you need, including a safe. I didn’t try the breakfast so cannot comment on this. The only staff member I had interactions with was when I checked in; I arrived after 1am due to travel delays and the doors to the hotel were locked and only opened with an access card, which I did not yet have as I hadn’t checked in. There wasn’t any facility to alert the person at the desk that I had arrived so I was trying to find a contact number to call to ask how to enter, at the same time, some other guests had arrived back to the hotel, one of them knocked on the window whilst the other opened the door with his keycard and allowed me to enter. Whilst I was checking in, the person on reception was visibly annoyed that the other guest had knocked on the window. After this, everything was fine. The only thing I will say is that on Sunday, there seemed to be a lot of people checking out (not the hotels fault); there are 4 elevators, but there are around 25 floors so a lot of these were in use and full with suitcases so I had to use the stairs after waiting almost 10 minutes for an elevator, luckily, I was only on the 8th floor, so just something to keep in mind."

"Great location, friendly staff. Rooms are a little on the small side but had everything you could need. Bathroom was clean just a little dated. Breakfast had a great selection, even though it was really busy, it was restocked continuously. Id recommend as a great base to explore the city."

"Great hotel near the centre, great location for trains, buses and the underground. About 10 min walk to the seafront and ferries. Hotel interior is a bit different, it reminded me of a ski chalet, great vibe and atmosphere. Bar and restaurant very good, didn’t have breakfast as was a bit pricey, lots of coffee shops locally. Note the breakfast restaurant was very busy over the weekend. Room was a bit larger than expected, no wardrobes just hanging knobs along the walls, desk and pin board, which made it feel like a uni room! Big bed and nice bedding, bathroom a little small but more than adequate. Our room looked directly into some offices so was very dark and we could see workers very clearly! Eventually worked out the lighting in the room, but had to go outside to see what the weather was like! I would stay again for a fun weekend away. The rooftop bar and spa is really nice if a little expensive!"

"We've stayed at other hotels closer to Götgatan leads to Gala Stan. The rooms and bathroom are small, no closet space. We wanted to give Clarion a try this time. We picked the family room hoping more space for our two weeks stay. And it is about the same cost. We thought 10 more minutes walk is not a big deal. And it is a great great great choice. We open the door to our room. It is huge huge room. It has a living room, a king size bed, a large washroom with walking shower, bathtub and a wardrobe. We purchased breakfast. The sheer options for variety of food is amazing. The train station is right outside the hotel. It is close to coffeeshops, shopping retails and many many many restaurants. There is a hotel bar and restaurant. The staff are nice and helpful. Just a wonderful hotel and stay. We will definitely stay at Clarion again and again. Highly recommended. 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 ❤❤❤"
