"Hanford House is an inn located on Main Street (Old Highway 49) in Sutter Creek. There are a limited number of rooms on the First and Second floors (maybe six?). Not a bed-and-breakfast inn, but the Element restaurant is at the front of the structure. Breakfasts are not included in the lodging rate. We were given a $35 voucher to another cafe for the morning that the Element was closed. We stayed three nights. Our room was very quiet and we enjoyed our King bed. Shower and bath. There is no coffee machine in the room, but coffee is available in the morning in the lobby. Staff was very helpful and tidied up our room every morning. Expensive stay on weekends; a price reduction mid-week. Parking is limited and first come, first served."

"We stayed at National 9 for a week and I cannot say enough how wonderful the staff was. Bright, cheery, and helpful. The rooms were clean and nice, and you honestly can't beat the price. Great water pressure, too! Highly recommend. "
