"We stayed at Monsoon Grande in Dec 2019. The view of the tea plantation from the room was wonderful, but it's far away from most place without private transportation. The bed was comfortable, and the linen was clean. But the couch and sofa had stay and there was mildew in the shower and there was a very humid smell in the room in general. "Front desk and management were superior! The area around the properties were lovely and wild! The rooms are nestled amid the trees and the morning bird calls are so serene. The rooms are a little old-fashioned, but everything worked and the room was spotless. A great place to stay."

"This place was just ok for a hotel in India. It’s so far up a mountain that access to outside food and drivers are slim, so you are at the hotel’s mercy for pretty much anything. The balcony was nice and so was the view. No ac in this hotel, and no mosquito nets. There was a really old plug in fan in the room though and it didn’t really fit well with the rest of the room.
