The location was great- 15 minutes drive from Myrtle Beach boardwalk and 5 minutes drive from surfside beach/downtown Surfside which were much less packed and much more chill.
The hotel itself was okay, what you would realistically expect for booking one of the cheaper hotels in the area: just the bare minimum to accommodate people and nothing more.
But the room was extremely humid to the point nothing would ever dry after a beach day and everything in our bags became wet and stinky, and had a number of various bugs somehow getting in (not bedbugs but flies, palmettos, things with a million legs).
If this hotel was truly budget in terms of price, that would be one thing, but around $150 per night made the inconveniences harder to handle, though I know that’s somewhat just the demand of the whole area.
