"The location was great Breakfast very delicious I would improve on the coffee but Starbucks is walking distance safe for single female travelers"

"We've been coming to Southport to visit family for 20 years and the Carriage House has always intrigued us but we've never stayed until now. It was absolutely wonderful. Amy was very friendly and knowledgeable and the facilities were amazing. I travel a lot and spend 30-45 days a year in hotels and this was one of my best experiences. I just wished we had more time to just stay at the Carriage House and enjoy it more, but we spent most of our time visiting family."

I caught it in a disposable cup and brought it to the front desk. The employee...

"Clean, friendly staff, beach"

"MOLD. We are a family of 4 with one small child and a baby. When we were getting ready for bed, we discovered a large amount of mold on the ceiling. We notified the host who offered other accommodations that would require us to be split into different rooms. We opted for a refund and took the long journey home that same night. That was 2 months ago and still no refund. Location is good though"
