Prime location but there was a city of bugs living in all three rooms I booked. Bathroom sink and shower drains did not drain well. Refrigerator door handle was filthy. Couch was broken in one of the rooms. Walls had dark smears indicating they hadn’t been cleaned.

Rooms were basic and dated , front desk staff did not seem welcoming .We only stayed one night passing through the area ,the hotel is near the city center.The highlight was the Bar adjacent to the hotel, the mixed drinks were amazing well needed after a long day. Also the Hotel is near the night market .

My room was clean and decently sized. Comfortable bed. The staff spoke very good English and helped with advice and arranged a tuk tuk to take me to the bus station when I departed. There is a busy restaurant just across the road, but I couldn't find anything else in the immediate vicinity. But the riverside with its night market activity is just a 8-10 minute walk away.

Has everything you want.
Simple check in, rooms spacious. Has everything you want for the price. It has a bed with a solid lip, whist at night getting up for a drink walked into it, very sore leg. My fault but do not like that design. Location is great, just off the main road.

Nice Place for a Stopover
I think that most tourists visiting Surat Thani are passing through. If you're spending a night here, the Evergreen Suites is a good choice. My room, and I think the whole hotel, were recently renovated. Everything is sparkling clean. It's quiet and comfortable. Note that there's no kettle in the room, but complementary coffee and tea are available in the lobby all the time. There are some nice restaurants nearby, and the hotel isn't far from the bus station.

Good location.
This hotel is in a good location. We only stayed for one night as were travelling onwards. Room comfortable and free coffee/biscuits in reception that you could take up to your room. No breakfast option however. Walking distance from Surat Thani night market. Staff friendly and helpful.

We always stay here now when passing through Surat Thani. It is well-located, modern, and has decent-sized rooms (we splash out on a Deluxe Double, a bit more spacious than Standard). The bathroom works okay, with good water pressure. Great parking, good service attitude.

Great position in centre of town. Room was spacious and bed and linens were high end. Bathroom was very small but had good hot water and nice toiletries. Underground parking for the bike and a lift were an added bonus!

Our regular Surat stopover hotel is open again!
Delighted to find that Evergreen (and many other hotels) are opening again all across Thailand. While there is still no international tourism in the country, local tourists and business travelers are beginning to play a role in economic recovery. The hotel continues to provide an excellent product. Welcoming, convenient, clean and comfortable. And a good sized carpark too (which was totally full as we left early morning, so clearly business is pretty good). We will be back!

Located nowhere near anything for tourists. Nobody spoke English and it was dark and gloomy. I got threatened outside the hotel by a tuktuk driver also. Horrible experience.

Okay place for a one night stay on the way to Koh Phangan. Not much to do or see in the town. Hotel was just average. Walls were paper thin so I could hear the person across the hall throwing up at night.

Best we've stayed at in Surat
We do quite a few one-nighters in Surat city (traveling to/from Bangkok/Samui by car) and so far the Evergreen is the best in terms of comfort, location, convenience and service. Not to mention price, which is highly competitive, to say the least! After 2 stays here, it's hard to imagine us going back to one of the other places we've tried

Excellent service, excellent staff. Very helpful and friendly. Always had our best interests in mind. My wife left her purse on the plane, and the staff couldn’t helped her more. Made phone calls for her to the airline to locate her purse. Which they did, even phone a cheap taxi to take her there and back. Gave us maps of the area and told us some great places to eat. Couldn’t thank them enough. Five stars all the way. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

This place feels brand new, and everything is just so shiny and clean. I felt very comfortable, and the staff was great. Also, I loved that breakfast and snacks were included around the clock. This place was easily worth two or three times more than what I payed.
