"Loved the town and loved the unit. Check-in was quick and easy, and the room was warm and comfortably large. Parking was a nice benefit, for sure. Everything is right downstairs in the pub/restaurant or right outside the door in the quaint neighborhood. This is a great place in the heart of a fun and friendly town. Loved it."

"If you are on a pilgrimage to experience the life of St. Brigid, this is a wonderful place for the journey. It is directly next door to the Cathedral. The Firecastle Market next door is, I presume, owned by the same people. They were so gracious and helpful. Let me store my bags in their tiny office so I could continue to explore. Truly wonderful hospitality all the way around no matter what your reason for visiting Kildare."

"A wonderful peaceful 3-day stop staying in the superior lodge room. The room itself comprised a spacious living area and a similarly large bedroom set a short walk from the castle itself. All of the staff were exceptionally friendly, attentive, and helpful. Breakfast was superb with a great selection of high quality options. Highly recommended for anyone looking to stay in the area."

"There has been a lot of investment in the hotel over the years & most of it very effectively invested. As in so many hotels we found the continuing use of a heavy duvet in a warm summer something that we cannot understand. I spoiled our stay. Too hot to use & too cold to do without. We find the same problem in so many hotels. It shows little regard for the customer as management must surely know that "one size does NOT fit all" when it comes to the seasonal changes in night time...
