"Love the place. Although it is a hostel, it felt more like a hotel. Was given a large family room, with a private bathroom which was perfect for my wife and 2 kids. The location is very convenient. Walking distance to 3 major attractions in Colombo. The only drawback There are no places to eat in the area."
"Great location, walkable distance to many historic sites, as well the main bus station and within 10 mins to train station. Provided with elevator in case you have suitcase. Room is super clean and comfy."

"I stayed CityRest Fort only 6 hours to take a shower and short nap for catching a mid-night flight. I booked a bed in Shared 4 Beds Dormitory. I checked in at the front desk and went into the room... I noticed there was nobody in the room! The man at the front desk was nothing to tell me but he arranged a sort of private room for me! I was able to relax and rest very well. Thank you so, so much for your angement. I'll definitely come back to CityRest Fort when I come to Colombo next time."

Sri Lanka has to recognize the importance of preserving this historical part of town. So much potential in these golden age buildings "
"Had stayed in this apartment for 2 weeks with my Family.
The apartment was fully furnished with all appliance & very well maintained in a quiet locality. Best part it had a supermarket & laundry service in house.
Would Highly recommend for future visits.
The host was very cooperative too.
