"Stayed at Hotel Lero for 4 nights and highly recommend it. Although located outside the Old City, the hotel is adjacent to a public bus stop with buses going directly to Pile Gate. Rooms were comfortable, large, clean and equipped with all the usual amenities. Breakfast buffet had a huge selection of hot and cold items -- something for everyone. Staff (especially the Concierge) were extremely helpful. Very pleased with my stay."

"A very charming, fully updated, well appointed property located next to the Old City Wall. The host Dubravka was very welcoming and hospitable. She met us outside Ploce Gate on our arrival, led us to the property and got us settled down nicely. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!"

"The staff were not friendly. We paid for breakfast and it was not even offered. The room was never cleaned or towels changed. We paid for a hotel room, and what we got was an air b and b. The light bulbs were all out except for two. When we arrived the front desk attendant ignored us and took other incoming guests ahead of us. Do not waste your time or money on this place, there are others that are far better quality."
